    Default Brunswick Vintage Danger Zone

    Hello,

I am a first time poster but an avid bowler. I recently bought a Brunswick Vintage Danger Zone 13 lbs. and drilled it fingertip. I've used it twice now and have chips by the finger holes. I had the first one buffed out and then it happened again but to the right finger hole. I'm thinking that I shouldn't have it fixed since it will propably happen agin. Do you think that it could be my delivery or just bad luck with the way the equipment gets hit? Thank you very much.

Not that this should matter but I am left handed and use finger inserts but no thumb insert.

I would look into it some more, if it's chipping you could be rolling over the holes or it is possible the ball just happens to be hitting something either down at the pin deck or along the ball return pathway back to the ball return.

Either way You should make sure the holes are properly beveled and shave the bridge down flat, this helps prevent cracking around the fingers and bridge.

I think it's probably hitting something sadly. Thanks for the reply.

    I agree here.

I've had a VDZ since last year and I have not had any issues with it whatsoever.

I've had mine since the ball first came out and no problems. I'd have the PSO look at it or maybe take it to a different shop something is causing that

Finger holes should be beveled to prevent chipping!
