2 years? I usually surface mine every few months. Granted I have everything at home and able to do myself. It's gonna be like a new ball!
What method do they use to de-oil?
Having my ball de-oiled and resurfaced.........
My reactive resin ball seemed to have lost something lately. It wasn't hooking like it should. I couldn't remember when I had it worked last. It must be like two years. So after practice today I left my ball at the pro shop to have it de-oiled and the surface hit with 500 grit first and then with 2000 grit with the surface left dull. That's how the ball was originally when I bought it in 2007. It is a Raw Hammer Anger ball. When this hits the pocket it hits hard and my speed at the pins is only 11.25mph. The ball is 15 pounds. My revs are not high the are on the medium side. So I will see what this baby does Saturday on league night.
