    Default Jammed my fingers....again!

During my last ball of warm ups, I dropped the ball and bounced up and got my fingers. My ring finger is bruised pretty good. It was positions Night and the three games I had to bowl with bruised fingers and it hurt..a lot! Good thing is, we made playoffs next week. Have League tomorrow. Last place so I'll take it easy, have to bowl as two others are out of town. Anyone else has done this? This is my third time bruising fingers, this time is the worst.

I don't understand how you did it? Please explain in more detail.

R I C E: rest, ice, compression, elevation. You can probably google this for better details than I can give you.

Glad I wan't the only one who read the OP and didn't understand what happened.....

How ever way it happened, the answer RICE for what to do, is a good one, as long as nothing is broken.

I think I would check the fit. Are you using fingertip grips? Maybe they need to be replaced. They do get worn and are not as snug as new after a while.

Yes, I too am totally confused how you did this? It can't be from getting it caught between two, as you say it bounced back up and hit your fingers. My ball does not bounce that much so let us know exactly what happened here.

    Sorry!

When I was on my down swing, just before my release, the ball slipped, had wrong size switch grip in. As my arm continued the swing, my hand was closer to the floor and at the same time the ball bounced up a bit and hit my finger straight on.
