I was thinking about a summer league, and was talking with a PSO that I bowl with, then later with a counter guy who I also bowl with.

Surprisingly they both suggested the same league, a singles league were you bowl four different matches every week, the hangup is it's a scratch league with
most of the top bowlers in the area, and most if not all are quite a bit better than I am.
I'm curious if anyone has given something like this a shot and did it help you improve your game, it's a 12 week league.
