Where can I find info on new ball releases? What will companies be releasing? When? Looking for Roto Grip and Storm. Heard someone say June releases. But where can I find info?

Check the news releases on the company websites & facebook pages.

Also look at the approved ball list on bowl.com, newly approved balls will show on there before they are released.

Nailed it. I periodically check the approved list. Only thing is it doesn't show you what's international releases or state side. Heard there is a new Cell coming out on the RG lineup. Not sure what's coming out on the Storm side

That's an odd question.

I would ask, how can I keep from hearing about new releases? Because God forbid you ever buy something online or subscribe to a bowling ball manufacturer's Facebook page...you'll get an e-mail a day about the next greatest ball to ever exist in the history of man.

Then, 3 months later...you'll start to get e-mails again...about the NEXT greatest ball release in the history of man...probably in the entire universe. And that ball you bought 3 months ago...forget about it, throw it in the trash, fire it out of a civil war cannon...it's junk. It will NEVER be able to compete against the NEW releases.

THAT is how fast technology moves when it comes to designing a round object that we roll down a 60ft lane.

Or, so you're meant to believe.

And, if it's a Motiv new release...be sure to add 0.06 to the differential...just as a safety factor. I don't want anyone showing up at the USBC Open getting turned away.

P.S. Also, a subscription to BTM also allows you to read up on some new releases and testing data, etc...

I have a buddy that does all the video work for storm/RG that I grew up with and he won't even tell me what's stateside and whats overseas. I really hope the Skid Cell comes stateside. I loved the Cell series, except the hyper cell...not a huge fan lol
