 Review:
The Octane Carbon is a new type of fuel for the avid bowler. I instantly fell in love with my Carbon as soon as I unboxed it. I compared mine with the United Revolt which I put a similar layout. What I immediately noticed about the Carbon, is the cleanliness through the front part of the lane and its response to the friction. Once reading the friction, it slightly reminded of the original Octane with a slightly more controlled backend but with even more continuation. The 1-2 combination with the Carbon and United is unreal. Starting with the United Revolt, it is a simple ball change to the Carbon if the United isnt quite making that turn around the corner. As lanes transition, the Octane Carbon is a great ball to go to.

 Summary:
The Octane Carbon is love at first sight. Not only does it look good, it performs as well as it looks. Fans of the Octane line will have great appreciation for the Carbon. The players with higher ball speeds should not shy away from adding a little additional surface to the Octane Carbon. My personal preference would be to touch it with a 3000 grit pad just for it to pick up a little sooner. Even though it is a new combination of core and cover, the name fits perfectly when compared to the previous Octanes with Carbon being highly indestructible, the Octane Carbon is a demolition going through the pins.
