Default Finally going to throw a ball after three months off...

from work following my open heart surgery. My surgeon cautioned me to start with a lighter ball and work my way up. I have access to some lighter equipment so I'll do as I'm told. League starts after Labor Day weekend so I need some reps in beforehand.

Yeah just take it easy for a while and build back up to whatever weight
ball you've been throwing no use in hurting yourself.

Thanks everyone. It'll be nice to lace em up again and knock some pins down.

I haven't thrown a ball yet, but I grabbed a couple of my balls to see how the fit was, and I swear my hand has shrunk by half! I put all new grips in at the end of last season because I had the money, and they were super tight. Now my fingers rattle around like I've lost 200 pounds.

It's amazing how much your hands can change. Good luck with your comeback!!!
