Well years back my step nephew fired the ball down the lane, A pin broke and when his ball came back a chuck of pin was stuck in the thumbhole.
I was bowling in the 9 pin tournament and the lane next to use was having issues. After the tech was back there for 20 minutes they came out to the ball return and opened the panel in the floor. A pin came back in the ball return! I have never seen that happen in all my years...lol.

I was in a tournament Labor Day weekend and that happened 2 times on different pairs that my friend was on. One time actually had 2 pins make it to the ball return.
We have that happen around here on a regular basis so
it's nothing new around here to have 1 or 2 pins stuck
in the ball return tunnel at any time.
