Thread: Unedited Pyramid Curse practice game

Default Unedited Pyramid Curse practice game

I was asked by a few individuals if I could show how well the Pyramid Curse rolls. They wanted to see an actual game being bowled with it instead of an edited video showcasing only strikes. So I'm going to start posting unedited games for all bowling brands and balls. Hopefully it makes it a little easier to decide which ball is right for them. So first up is the Pyramid Curse.

Well, it wasn't *only* strikes. Nice game, good lookin' ball. Thought you had that split!

I appreciate it. That was actually my forth game of the day. My first two games I had practiced with my Radical Cyclops then I moved on to my Curse. I brought my camera along but that was the only full game I filmed. I was messing with my camera settings more than anything and I had finally set them up to where I liked them. Thankfully I had a good game. I was a little bit upset I slowed my ball speed down on my two splits. I was hoping to pick up that one split but alas, I failed. I'm curious to see how I do for my other practice sessions.

what do you use for a camera setup? I've tried recording my sessions with my cell phone propped up in my shoe, but the new phone is a bit too heavy for it to work.

You might try a cellphone tripod, They have them for less than $20. Some even less than $10.

I was able to pick up a Canon Vixia HF R70 video camcorder with tripod and carrying case for about $275 during a sale. its not the best camcorder on the market but it works well and all the video is stored on an sd card which lets me plug the card directly into my laptop for download/editing.
