    I think it could have been avoided but telling him when it would be done when he dropped off the ball. Everyone is always anxious to play with their new toys as soon as possible so I'm sure he was disappointed to hear it wasn't going to be done over the weekend. I don't think either one of you are being unreasonable, I just think there should have been better communication between the two of you. I personally would apologize by saying, I'm sorry I should have informed you that I wouldn't have it done until Tuesday and maybe take $5 off the drilling price. Not that I think you did anything wrong but just to try to keep the customer happy.

    I won two balls and had my usual PSO drill them and he charged $30 for the 1st one. The 2nd he let me upgrade the ball for a total of $45 with drilling both with thumb slug and grips. He isn't in a bowling center, alley. He is also one of the busiest shops in Metro Detroit.
