Yeah but if you knew his team...lol. He owns the company that sponsors his team and they are a team that isn't as worried about how well they bowl as they are about having a good time. 2 or 3 guys on their team throw with no thumb just to see how many revs they can get. For them it isn't about getting high scores. And the guy that went ice skating on the lane turned around laughing so that made it easier to laugh at him. I don't know him so I tried hard not to laugh.

Oh, that's a different story then. As long as the guy didn't get hurt is the main thing.

I seen a group of teens yesterday goofing off and one did a slide on purpose, at least that was how it appeared from my vantage point at the food counter. not sure if the horseplay kept up or not because I had to leave.
Yeah now those guys are just idiots if it was in fact on purpose, they'd get one not so nice warning not two. Plus I'd hand them a rag and can of approach cleaner and watch them do it or escort them out. An accident is a different story, no warning and I'd clean the approach myself and exchange (house shoes)no questions asked. Hope the house checked for oil on the approach and shoes so the next innocent bowler didn't do some unwanted acrobatics. If not I feel bad for that next person.

I guess that's why before people start bowling at our center there is a disclaimer they have to agree to by hitting the check mark about injury so we don't get sued. I don't remember what it all says, it's just a CYA for the center. I wish that worked for the bar, if we over serve someone the bowling center gets fined as well as the bar tender. That sucks.

If a person is over served and goes out and kills someone you will get more than a fine. I believe our center pays over $100,000 a year for liability insurance.

That's true. When we see someone sloshed and they come back to the bar we nonchalantly ignore them and try to stay at the opposite end. If they can't order they can't drink. If they are persistent then we'll cook up some wings or something on the house and give them water. We try to get something in their stomach besides booze. If they drove we'll call Uber. If they refuse everything then we call cops.

We try not to let them get to that point but there are some that have a REALLY LOW tolerance. Two drinks and they are smashed. My brother is like that, 1/2 a beer and he's wrecked no joke. I don't get it. I can pack it in pretty good if I choose but not in public places anymore. I hate hangovers so if I drink at all twice a year that's a lot. The other problem is not everyone comes to the bowling center 100% sober so one more drink will put them away. You really have to watch people close to cya as a bartender I'll say that.
