Congratulations! Hope you do well in the Fall.
As you know from earlier posts i had my left leg amputated below the knee on sept 19th 2017. after 3 revision surgeries and it still not healing we did another angiogram on my left leg and found good blood flow to the knee but poor blood flow below the knee. So on Jan 12th 2018 they did another revision to an above the knee amputation. Being diabetic I'm slow healing. They removed the last 6 stitches out of the 24 after the surgery last week. I have 1 small spot left to finish healing and then they will start fitting me with a prosthesis. The one nice thing I found out is they now have knee joints in the prosthesis so your walk is close to normal vs the peg leg walk of yeas ago. If all goes according to plan i should be able to start back bowling early in the fall YAHOO!!
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation
