End of year tournament tonight

And I sucked.....

$40 entry. 22 entered. There were 3 of us on our pair (2 lefties). We started out on 1 and 2 ans after each game you move one pair right. So game 2 was on 3 and 4 and game 3 was 5 and 6. The even numbered lanes (2, 4, and 6) were much slicker that the odds. I rarely ever notice a difference between the 2 but tonight on all 3 and the other lefty had the same results. I was 4 boards further left than normal on the even lanes and 2 left on the odd lanes from my normal day. Thought I was having a pretty good game as I was doing pretty good with my spares and had a few strikes. Ended the game with a 174 after leaving a 2-7 in the 10th. 2nd game was similar but ended with 171. 3rd game was light almost every shot and was leaving variations of 1, 3, 7. Ended with a 152 even with 5 strikes. Ended with 650 with handicap. Cutoff for next round was 677.

On a good note I was 3/3 on 7 pins in practice and 1/1 in the games. Also had a 4, 7 and got the 7 without touching the 4. So while it sucked that I missed the 4 at least I would have been 5/5 on 7's tonight.

Summer league starts next Tuesday.
