Any great diy ball cleaners out there? I tried the simple green & 91% alcohol 50/50 mix. Seems to work pretty well.

As far as DIY'ers the SG/Alco mix is the most popular and widely used one and there's a a couple variations of the mix.

People have tried other mixes, but nothing ever real jumped ahead of it. If your going the DIY route there's nothing any better.

I use 60% Fabuloso and 40% alcohol (91% isopropyl). Seems to work pretty well. Smells & looks just like That Purple Stuff.

I would exercise a little care in using too high of a concentration of Simple Green. If you use too much, Simple Green will leave behind a residue on the surface of your ball. In my opinion, a 50/50 mix is way too high. I started off trying that and over the course of time I found my ball getting longer and longer. I presently use about 10% Simple Green, 50% of 91% Iso Alcohol and the rest plain water. Remember that Simple Green is a highly concentrated degreaser.

I've tried many homemade solutions, but none of them stack up to Storm's Reacta Foam. That stuff does wonders and 1 bottle between 5-6 balls lasts all season
