    Default Stone 8's

I'm looking for incite into what may be a solution for this leave.

    Right handed. Hitting high flush.
But saw 3 of these on Sunday league and one just now with 3 game warm set I bowled before Turning league.

With three in one set, taking your word that all three were high flush, it could have just been bad racks. The other posibility is that the ball was deflecting too much.

When I leave these on seemingly perfect hits, I notice that the ball is rolling out just a bit as it goes into the pins so it deflects slightly rather rather than driving right through.

Yep, stone 8 usually means you're deflecting just a little bit. Looks great going in but you'll notice as the ball goes through the deck, it just misses the 8 to the right (for a righty).

Yup, I'm thinking it's on target but lower speed entering the pocket and a slight deflection.
Solution: Don't slow feet and good follow through.
    Thanks for the help.

Yep, ball is rolling out and has lost it's "drive" into the pocket.

I am a lower rev bowler and when I start leaving a 5 or 8 or ringing 10, it usually means my speed has increased and it's time to dial it back a notch.

I am so happy to see that no-one on here buys into Randy's "the only true tap in bowling" whine based on his own embarrassing experience.

I was tempted to answer that leaving the 8 is caused by having Randy Pederson nearby.

Ya I agree I'm not suffering from the Peterson's.
