Never understood why many bowling centers don't own the land and building.
Around here, the value of commercial property so high that you would have to be very wealthy put up a center and buy the land that it sits on. Most people with that kind of money think in terms of maximizing return on investment. They think that if a bowling center yields a profit of X dollars per square foot, and a retail building yields a profit of 2X dollars per square foot, they would be losing X dollars per square foot by putting up a bowling center.

Very sad indeed. Money and greed trumps all. The guy fighting it looks like a dick.
