Glad to hear you're making a come back to bowling
and remember to take it easy for the first few games
as to not hurt anything and hopefully you'll be back up
there in your normal average real soon.
Finally made it back to the lanes 15 months after my motorcycle accident. I could only do a one step approach, but I did surprisingly better than I anticipated. Before the accident I had worked my average up to 196. After the long layoff and recovery period (and game 1 learning curve, on how to roll with only 1 step) I ended up with a 163 and a 174 in the 2 games I played. It felt great getting back out there, and I overcame my fear thinking that my knee was going to give out and end up face down in the oil.

It's a huge mental hurdle to trust that what has healed won't get hurt again. Good luck with the rest of your recovery!
