Default Some new equipment worth mentioning I now have

It's been so long I almost forgot how to start a new thread. =) I did acquire some new bowling balls over the past few months.I bought a Venom Shock which I got in August but ended up not drilling yet. It sat at my PSO for a few weeks but he never seemed to get to it so I picked it back up. It was a great deal, I got it through the guy who the bowling center gets their stuff from for a cost of $60. It was nice, a phone call and I had it the next day. I need to get this thing drilled, I can't believe this much time has passed and it hasn't been drilled yet. My son put it on the fireplace mantel on display to remind me.

    The others are...

    Hammer Rebel
    Storm IQ Tour Edition
    Storm Freaky Frantic
OSW Blend 10 (Never heard of it)

They all came from a lady on one of our leagues that her and her husband recently closed a pro shop. She has over 100 balls in storage, a few used but most are NIB. I talk to her frequently and one day she came in and said "Can you come to my car and give me a hand with something?" I went out there and she handed me 4 boxes of brand new bowling balls free of charge.

She has seen my son bowl several times and she said to give two of them to him when he's ready for a 15 lb. I don't know much about these balls, haven't had much time to research them. I don't want to throw anything similar to what I already have. Had I known she was doing this I probably would have waited to by the VS but I don't regret it. This was back in October since I got these and I have yet to drill any of them. LOL One thing is for sure, I still need to get a new bowling bag and a bigger one at that.

So there you go, my first post in months. =)

Arsenal consists of mainly 15# Motiv balls, I have several now and they are the bomb! Too many to list and carry. Still have a couple Hammer balls and my AMF RPM Swirl (old reliable) & 25+yr old Linds worth a mention
Currently 535+ Rev Rate @ 19 MPH (This probably needs to be updated, I think I've toned each down a click or two these days. I'm letting the ball do more of the work as I get older.)

Just ordered an IQ Tour, so I’ll be with you on that journey. Wish I had free bowling balls coming to me though!

She didn't just come up to me like I was a stranger. I've known her for a while from her coming in. I have frequently sat and talked to her extensively and I make a point to play her genre of music for her. Call it....good customer service. Plus, when I see her coming in the door on camera I whip her up her Bloody Mary just the way she likes it, strong and spicy, 3 olives and a pickle spear. It's on the counter before she gets around the corner waiting for her. =) I take good care of my regular peeps.

Also my son bowls right before her on his league and of course sticks around to practice. Multiple times he has bowled on the adjacent lane to her. She knows he's my kid so she offers some pointers to help him out. She's an excellent spare shooter, not much for throwing strikes but seldom opens. Very consistent bowler. Ball speed is very low, she's not exactly youthful. Another reason she has no use for 15 lb balls.

Blend 10 is a company started by Bill all. http://69.89.31.224/~blendon1/product/osw-by-blend10/ I have drilled several of the NST version for people and they seem to like them. IQ Tour and the Venom Shock will have similar ball motions and both e very versatile. Having had both to me the shock was a little stronger than the IQ. They both take well to surface changes and are VERY GOOD on sport patterns. Which Rebel ?
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation
