Default Which kind of doctor to go see for my shoulder pain?

Okay for a while now I've been saying I need to go see a
doctor for my on and off shoulder pain which is affecting
my bowling for the last month or so.

Which kind of doctor would you all suggest I try to get
into to see how about a Chiropractor as it isn't a really
a constant pain all the time I was thinking maybe it was
a pinched nerve or should I try to get into a orthopaedic
surgeon I'd rather not have to go through any surgery if
    I can keep from it.

Any kind of suggestions for doctors to go see and or any
home remedies would be greatly appreciated.

I would assume a orthopedist that maybe specializes in sports injuries?

I would think that you would need to see an orthopedist to find out what is causing the pain. If surgery is recommended, get a second opinion. If it’s confirmed, ask around and make sure the surgeon is one of the best in your area at this particular type of operation. According to one of my physical therapist friends, the shoulder is a complex joint and you don’t really want to cut it open if you don’t have to.

Thanks guys for the suggestions maybe I'll go see as Tony said
over in the post your score section under my post maybe go see
a Physiatrist if I can find one in my area which is kind of doubtful
as we have hardly and kind of specialist around here anymore.

Wahooo I found that we have 3 Physiatrist in the area so maybe
I'll try to get a appointment with one of them since they don't
opt to do surgery the first thing I'd love to avoid that at all cost.
