Sheesh but about what I expected to see. I'm not a fan of the policy and they lose my respect on that one.
Yeah, it is a little annoying. Since I was throwing a sanded Pyramid Curse (won from this site) as my benchmark ball at the time and had a Jet Blackbird (buddy used to be on staff with them before going to Brunswick) as a spare ball I passed on two PBA regionals in the area since I didn't want to punch up two balls and pay the premium, non-PBA member price.
