got_a_300's Thursday Night Summer League Scores

Okay took a couple more weeks off to give the shoulder some
rest and now it is time to hit the lanes again for the summer
league.

Not my best start to the summer but it will have to do until I
get back in the swing(no pun intended)of things. LOL!!!

Okay here we go.............................................

Hmmm not sure why the missed 10 pin isn't showing up in
the 10th frame of the first game but I did nick it lightly but
it just stood there and wiggled at me and said nope not this
time.

OMG!!!! the lanes were beyond screwed up tonight no one on our
pair bowled a 500 series and the rest of the center was just as bad
it seems.

I was high man on the pair of lanes with a 488 series if that tells you
anything as how bad the shot was tonight they said the oiling machine
was on the fritz again.

I just wish they would break down and buy a new oiling machine but
that probably won't happen any time soon.

Oh well so much for the rant on to the wonderful(yeah right) scores LOL!!!

Well a little better night tonight the oiling machine is almost back
to normal whatever normal is for the place. LOL!!!!!

The lanes started out with a halfway decent shot but they dried
out big time by the 2nd game kept moving left but just not fast
enough it seems by my 2nd game score but at least I was high
man on the team that game.

By the 3rd game I was 21 boards left from where I started and
was swinging it way out to the right almost all the way to the
gutter but couldn't carry all that good from that angle.

Oh well on to the scores

It would have been a good night if only I could have made the 10 pin
when I needed it the most but not to be.

The 3rd game they got super dry it was really hard to keep it on the
right side of the headpin I was standing in front of the ball return on
the right lane and chunking it over the 5th arrow all the way out to
the 3rd or 4th board and throwing it as hard as hard as I could.

I hooked right in front of the 10 pin throwing it as straight as I could
and I even hooked by the 6-10 I rocked the 6 pin with the plastic spare
ball but it still hooked but no go on it falling but oh well hopefully there is
always next week and hope I see less 10 pins. LOL!!!!!

Well another repeat of the 3rd game again this week just
couldn't keep it on the right side again unless I played on
the 5th to 6th arrow out to about the 6th or 7th board and
using a lot of loft out to about 15 or 16 feet down the lane.

Guess I'm going to have to get myself a 3rd game ball that
isn't quite as aggressive as what I have now something like
an entry level ball or something like that.

Oh well on to the super duper scores (NOT) LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep it sure was Aslan but not my worse game ever but close to it though. LOL!!!!

Guess I'd better get it in gear and post my most recent scores I've been
slacking recently it seems like as I haven't been on the boards much lately.

Okay here goes.

Week 6

Quite a bit worse than last week that 3rd game is really getting too me.

Still not my best bowling but it's still better than some of those other weeks

Still a little down on the numbers but oh well it happens sometimes
it just gives me something to look forward to the next week to do a
little better.

Okay here we go with some more scores these are a little better since
I drilled myself a new weaker reacting ball.

Here we go with week 11 still using the new ball.

Got off to a slow start with it but brought it back
the 2nd and 3rd games.
