    Default Roto Grip Wrecker

Anyone know anything about this ball? Teammate/friend has one. Looks to have about 500 games on it...lol. I'm going to throw it on my spinner but just looking for general info. What was OOB finish?

He also has a DV8 Nasty Rumor as a primary but uses the Roto Grip about 30% of the time

I put it on the spinner and hit it with 500 wet then 1000 dry. Will start from there and see how he likes it. He said he wanted it to hook more than it did but he hardly ever cleans them or even wipes them off and I know he never surfaced them. He was hesitant to let me do this. I'm not bowling next week but will be there so told him to try it first warmup throw and I could hit it with something else by hand if he didn't like it.

Remember your adding a lot of surface it will seriously change the reaction going from 1500 polished to 500/1000. I know you don't have much hand and use a lot of surface. Just remember not everyone falls into that camp lol. My slower speed with that much surface will die for me quick or hook into the other gutter.

yeah i was thinking about that. the ball looks very much like it did before i started. can't even see sanding scratches in it. i'm using CTD pads and they seem to be less course than the others. like my Conspiracy needs to be at 2000 on mine to be similar to the 3000 OOB. My PSO hit the Conspiracy with a brand new 3000 Abralon before he handed it off to me and i needed 2000 CTD to get a similar reaction. same with my kingpin. i had 500 to get close to OOB. so thinking his ball at 1000 might be closer to 2000 but i did not polish it.

i thought about throwing it back on and using the 500 dry to try to get some sanding marks in it. it almost looks like i just cleaned it real good....lol

Teammate used the ball last night and liked it as it was. He had an 804 4game series which is much better than he had been doing. He normally used the DV8 most of the night but last night he used the RG most of the night.

To add to that, he bought a new Squatch pearl last night too. Should have it for next week. Our PSO rolled a 300 last night with a new Squatch solid. He just drilled it right before league started.

This is what storm has for it's resurfacing guide.

1500 Grit polished is 500 grit for 30 secs, 1000 grit for 20 secs, 2000 grit for 20 secs, 4000 grit for 20 secs, polish for 15 secs. This is done to all 4 sides of the ball. I included the link to the pdf.

Cool. Thanks for that guide. I have another one that lists suggestions for all different manufacturers but it doesn't give much detail

Teammate got his new Squatch tonight. He struggled all night but liked the ball. He even tried his other ones and just struggled. He said he likes the shape and action of the Squatch.
