Do you use plastic for spares? 50% on ten pins is costing you a ton in average!

I use purple urethane by Hammer. now 23/29 79.3%. Before this session @ 84%, that is my normal with urethane. The senior league could use a lesson on courtesy, even at one lane.

Purple Hammer Urethane has a core. Get plastic with a pancake weight block. Anything under 95% on ten pins is costing you!

Not to hijack but I was looking at the Radical spare ball and it looks like it has a toilet plunger looking weight block...lol. https://radicalbowling.com/products/...cal-spare-ball

There was another one I saw that had a similar one (think it was the Brunswick so same family). Anything wrong with these compared to the old pancake?

Looks the same as the T-Zone so it should be fine.

Why reinvent the wheel? The Radical Spare Ball costs $13 more than a Brunswick T Zone. I thought you had to save for a wedding.

I do....lol. But I saw that core and it wasn't a pancake so wondered if it was similar or if it was a legit spare ball. PSO has T-Zones on the shelf (lighter weights though) so that is definitely a possibility. Just wondered why it didn't have a pancake core.

Rob, I roll it like N. Duke at the 10pin. The highest I ever shot 10's with plastic, over many years, was low 70%. One size, fits all, does not apply in this case.
