    Default Unconventional 300 games

I wonder if anyone has ever thrown a 300 getting nothing but Brooklyns? If they did, in any competitive circumstance they'd likely leave in an ambulance because of it. Just curious if it's ever been recorded?

What's the weirdest 300 you ever seen or bowled?

Arsenal consists of mainly 15# Motiv balls, I have several now and they are the bomb! Too many to list and carry. Still have a couple Hammer balls and my AMF RPM Swirl (old reliable) & 25+yr old Linds worth a mention
Currently 535+ Rev Rate @ 19 MPH (This probably needs to be updated, I think I've toned each down a click or two these days. I'm letting the ball do more of the work as I get older.)

USBC website lists all sorts of unofficial records one being odd honor scores. Two people are listed bowling all “Brooklyn” 300 games. I knew the first (1976), he has since passed. Some of us who knew him discussed this, believed it was fake, he was too good a bower to throw 12 straight Brooklyn’s. USBC calls then “unofficial”

Not 300's but I rolled 12 in a row across 2 games once (at least once that I remember). At a tournament in March on a 47' Scorpion pattern I rolled a 219 and most were Brooklyns. Then last week I rolled 4 in a row to end a game, then opened in the first frame of the next game, then a 9 bagger, then opened in the 11th....lol. So no 300's but odd bowling there.

I once threw 7 Brooklyns out of a string of 8 strikes in a row and was later talking about it to a friend of mine. As I recall, he had seen someone throw 15 Brooklyns in a row, but I think they wound up as a Varipapa 300.

Had a guy years ago when I was living in Rockford with 8 of the 12 being Brooklyn. 1st frame and all 3 in the 10th were dead flush. This was back in the late 70's early 80's
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation

Not a true 300 but I had a Varipapa 300 in the strangest league set I ever had. I shot 147 the first game with only 2 strikes. I started game 2 with a pocket 7-10 then proceeded to throw the next 11 for 279. I started game 3 with the first 5 (16 in a row) and then proceeded to throw 3 opens and 2 spares in the last 5 frames to shoot 198. So for the night, I had 18 strikes with 16 of them in a row. My average at the time was 203.

Back in July when they were holding the Tour match play event for the top 16 bowlers at Red Rock Lanes, my friends and I went over to practice on Sunday morning as we always do. We were told that, because of the event, there were fewer open lanes than usual. We were forced to bowl on a single lane, rather than a pair like we usually do. During the first game, I really couldn't find much of a shot, despite trying three different reactive balls. Finally, in the last couple of frames, I tried using my plastic spare ball for strikes. I had a pretty good look with it, so I suggested that we bowl the next game for $1. I proceeded to bowl 300 with my plastic spare ball. My friends all had the same comment, "Boy, some people will do anything for a buck!" LOL
