Thread: Surface grit then polish

    Default Surface grit then polish

I realize that polish is supposed to make a ball go longer (skid through oil in heads and midlane) , then a fairly strong backend reaction when the ball hits the dry BUT...
does polish then "over ride" or make a difference if the ball has a different surface to begin with?
Example: Roto Grip Halo---If I have a 2000 surface with CTD pads on it, and I add polish will my ball finish differently than if I had a 500 surface on the ball and then add the same polishing?
Finishing process: both 500 or 2000 surface and polish finishing done on a ball spinner.

Yes it will. The surface below the polish makes a difference that difference is smaller than a non polished ball but still there.
