Who hasn't bowled a 300 game yet?

I got close one time. I started with six strikes. In the seventh frame when I got to the foul line my ball just dropped off my hand and I didn't get to put leverage on the release. So the ball went in light. I got seven pins down on the first ball and then picked up the three left for a spare. The rest of the way I finished with all strikes for a 276. I have bowled high games in the 200s and got enough scratch series over 600. As a matter of fact my highest scratch series was 710. I had a game where I got the first nine frames with strikes and then a light hit in the tenth frame for a spare and a nine count. The highest average I got to was a 191. I wasn't one for putting in a lot of practice so that might have something to do with it. I have bowled for 36 years total and still like to bowl So I was wondering who here hasn't made a 300 yet. How close have you come to one?

I started league bowling about 1980 (about 11 years old) but did take a 16 year break from 2002 to 2018 so about 23 years total. My high game is a 267 over this past summer. Prior to that my high was a 266. During that 266 I rolled 12 strikes in a row but I ended a game with 5 then started the next with 7 (245 and 266). That was back in the early 90's. My high series is a little gray. A few week sago I rolled a 657 so I'm calling that my high series but I think I rolled a 66* when I had that 245, 266 but can't remember what it was for sure. My highest league average was 193 and that was back around 2002 when I left. Right now I'm at 192 so looking to break that this year.

Do I count twice since I haven’t shot 300 with either hand. While I have had one Varipapa 300, I haven’t come close to a real one. My highest scores, 279 right handed/263 left handed have all started with two or three strikes, then a spare. When I start with 5 or 6 the final score is usually between 200 and 240.

A couple of years ago I rolled a 280. I was joking around with one of my teammates and said that I needed a 267 for a 700 series. We both laughed.
I had rolled several 266, 267 and 268 games in the previous couple of years. I recall leaving the 8-pin in the second frame of game 3 of the set and then struck out. Couldn't miss. It felt like I should have kept bowling all day...

I haven't. 4 299 games, a 295 (not my proudest moment...), and handful of 289's, and more 279's than I care to mention.

our PSO bowled one last week (11/19) and had one 10/22. They said he has had about 40-50 of them. They don't even announce it anymore when he does it...lol. In fact, last week he had a 300 the first game, then a 289 (left a 7) then a 233 (822). His average right now is 236.**. The 300 on 10/19 was against us and he used a new Conspiracy Theory. Not sure what he used the other night
