Default after 2 weeks off not excited about tomorrow

Had 2 weeks off due to holidays and I'm not at all excited about going back tomorrow. Normally bu Sunday or Monday I'm itching to get back after only 5 or 6 days away. Probably cause my last 4 weeks or so haven't been very good. Hopefully that changes after I get there. But usually when I get to the point of giving up and just doing what I can is when I bowl better....lol. Maybe cause I don't try so hard?

At least you got a nice long break. Hope everything works out well for you, bowling included. :-)

Same boat here. I know how to do it, I just never know if I’ll be able to.

I feel a little similar. I've used the last couple weeks to try to heal up my wrist but this much time off can kind of go either way with the physical game and timing for me. Best approach for all of us... KISS

Yeah, wishful thinking...lol. It was a rough night. Not just for me but both teams. Our anchor had a 718 but other than that the 8 of the 10 on our pair struggled. The other teams anchor left 7 or 8 splits in game 1 and had a 116 (average was about 180). I had a 180, 195, and 139. Struggled in games 1 and 3. Game 1 just couldn't find the pocket and game 3 my thumb started hanging.

Struggled badly as well. Mainly, because I tried ‘working the inside of the ball’, which resulted in spinning it all over the lane. Very frustrating.

I did OK... no wrist pain which was really promising.
