So tonight I took 2 and 14 and won. Last weeks winner took The Closer so I have the other 8 to choose from. Not sure which I will take but thinking about The Glam since I need a ball for drier lanes...well if we ever get back to bowling...lol

Went with the Glam by DV8. Not sure how this will work. Just sent him a message telling him to drill up the Glam and install a switch grip. Never used one before but talked to him about it a few months ago after my thumb apparently swelled and I was sticking in every ball.

    Congratz on winning! Nice!

Hey, does anybody here know of any way to go bowling in PA or NJ right now? Or when the bowling alleys, or even the bowling lanes at fire houses, etc., are reopening anywhere in those states?

Clearfield Lanes in Clearfield PA is open for business. They are open 9am-3PM, then 6PM-10PM Mon-Thursday. 9AM-11pm on Friday. 5PM-10PM Sat and Sun.

Jireh Lanes in Kersey PA may be open

St. Mary's Olympic Lanes in Saint Mary's PA might also be open.

You would want to call any of these places before heading there to ask about rates, rules, etc.

Thank you! I have never even heard of those towns, but I will certainly look into them. I can't wait to try out my “new” ball again. I'll bet my score's gone down by at least 50, haha.

I am in PA, but these centers would be a 225 mile drive northwest for me to get to. I really want to bowl, but I am not going to drive 4 hours to do so. Plus, I would rather wait and support my local center as soon as they open back up (hopefully in the next 3-4 weeks.)

I'm really hoping one of the Earl Bowls in Pa. reopens soon. They're pretty neat. Ever bowled there?

They are very close to where I am, and I have walked around in the Quakertown location, but I have never actually bowled there. Maybe when things reopen I will try their Sunday rent-a-lane deal and check it out.

As soon as we go "green" I would imagine they will reopen. Hopefully only 3-4 weeks away!

Maybe I'll see you there when they reopen. I've bowled there. :-)

My center just announced they are opening 6/16. They are having a meeting on 6/23 about summer league. That league will start that same night after the meeting. Our summer league used to be 2 man teams so 4 to a pair. Now they said they will do 3 man teams this summer. Probably to keep it to 6 to a pair and maybe skip every other lane? Doubt I will bowl the summer league as I had planned to sit out even before Covid hit.
