Another frustrating night. I couldn't hit the pocket very well all night but had some good carry in game 1. Games 2 and 3 started missing the pocket worse and struggled with some spares too. In the end I still beat my average but not happy with how it went. Used the Uppercut in game 1 then switched to the Igniter early in game 2 then back to the Uppercut early in game 3. Lanes were drier than normal and I kept moving right. Tried 3 different lines and couldn't get it right with any.

On the bright side your spare shooting wasn’t horrible. If you don’t count the splits you were at 75% on spares. What’s a bit disconcerting is that you missed everything on both splits. On the 7-9 you should have been just trying for the 9 pin. On the 5-6 there is at least a two foot wide area where you will get at least one pin. Think about it. A ball thrown randomly down the lane has at least a 60% chance of knocking down at least one pin.

yeah i was actually trying my best to convert them. we had been getting beat pretty bd with no chance of winning so i went for it. i usually do go for it most of the time anyway. my wife left 3 7-10's last night. granted she is a 106 bowler but what are the odds of the same person leaving 3 7-10's in the same night...lol

Started off good and I was in the pocket almost all night. Problem is we bowled a team of 3 no thumbers (1 was a lefty right in my line). First 5 or 6 frames were great then I started leaving 7 pins. Moved in but if I missed by a little I left ugly leaves. Fought with that all of game 2 and couldn't get anything to work. Game 3 balled down to the Igniter and was hitting the pocket but leaving 7's again. Tried moving in and same thing as earlier. Moved way outside and started getting a few strikes again. My strike game was bad but spares were good tonight. 4/5 on 7 pins

Well tonight was our position round. We ended up losing the 1st game and winning the next 2 and total so went 5-2 on the night. We had a 'bye' but to get the points you have to bowl within 50 pins of your team average. I used this as a practice session but did try to do my best in the process. I have 2 problems that I need help with. 1) is a hop at release and 2) my inaccuracy and uncomfortability playing inside with bigger angles. So I worked on that tonight.

Wasn't able to fix the hop. The issue is I swing my arm way out and the ball is about a foot away from my slide foot. Probably gonna need professional help with that. Did some no step drills but not enough of them.

So I worked on targeting the 3rd arrow and a little inside of that. I got fairly consistent with it but it was very over/under. Well I didn't even have a double until the 10th frame of the 3rd game. My worst series this season by far. But I felt more comfortable and consistent inside. Used the Uppercut the whole night but threw the Conspiracy a few times just for comparison.

Much better night. Started with the Uppercut then switched the Igniter 5th frame of game 3 after 2 opens. Missed a 6 pin after tugging it then missed a 7 to the inside. Had I made one of those I'd have had a 700. Lanes were a little drier tonight but there were some really good scores on our pair. Stayed clean until 3rd frame of game 3
