Absolutely not, and frankly I'm offended you even thought of this. As a matter of fact, I'd like you to go back and show me where I may have accused anyone of this in the past. Go ahead, I'll wait....

It wasn’t anything you said. There was nothing in your post that suggested was anything deliberate on Blacksox’s part to lower his scores. What I meant was I hope no one in his league accuses him of sandbagging.

Once the handicap percentage gets close to 100% the “S” word starts getting thrown around. Sometimes it’s directed at a really good bowler when he has a couple of bad games, especially if his team is way ahead or behind when he makes a bad shot. Other times it’s used on an average bowler who happens to have a really good game. Maybe I’ve just been in leagues with too many sore losers.

Fighting an injury for a week. The pain got to be too much and could not continue. Doing all the right things since last Thursday night. We shall see how Monday league develops.

That sucks. I have a bad back and shoulder and a few times considered trying to get a fill-in for me but went anyway and bowled really well. I think it was because I had no pressure and expected to do bad. My back has been bothering me now for a couple of weeks but bowling hasn't aggravated it. But at this point I'm just waiting on the season to be over and kind of gave up caring. Right now the only thing I'm in it for now is my average but it has dropped 4 pins in the last few weeks so that isn't even working. The way it has been I usually don't even want to be there anymore.
