Default My senior outing wasn't bad..............

My scores weren't knock your socks off type but for a guy 73 with bad knees and replaced hips not too bad. They were a 192, 157 and a 168. That gave me a scratch series of 517. This was our third time out and my first 500 series this year. The balls I use are a 14# urethane Blue Hammer and a 15# Columbia yellow dot that I bought in 1978. That Columbia still works great with a 400 surface. My Blue hammer is a 600 surface. Both balls work good for me because my top speed now is only 11.5 to 12mph. Once I figure out where to stand on the lane my swing and release gives me a good hook. I am seeing a doctor about my knees this Thursday. I have to find out how close I am to replacements. I will see if I can at least get Cortisone shots in both for now. So I am still hanging onto bowling as long as I can. I started league bowling in 1978. Some of you folks were probably not even born yet. For me 74 is close. I am at that age that if they put candles on the cake for me chances are it will start the house on fire. Keep those balls rolling folks.

lol. Hey that's better than I do some nights and I'm 'only' 51. I jokingly say 'only' because I have alot of miles on me...lol. Heck I had a 510 a few weeks ago.

Keep up the great work. Alot of guys in my league would be thrilled to be rolling 500's
