It would be nice if you could get your seven pins to more than a 50/50 chance of making them.
Must have been weird lane conditions for a lefty to leave a 2-4-5-8.

Yeah not sure i have ever left that before. But lanes were really weird. Like I said in the other post, the other team got so frustrated their top guy just started rolling the ball down the lane and got a few gutters. He had a 487 or something. He rolled a 300 last week.
Just looked at my pinpal stats and in 583 games since I started tracking it that is the first time I left a 2-4-5-8.

Well another rough night but we won 2 of 3. Went in early for practice and bowled about 190 1st game (didn't see score) and 231 2nd game. No matter where I stood I was striking in the pocket. Moved to our league lanes and struggled. I was hitting my mark and hitting the pocket but leaving a pin here or there. To be fair I would be off just a hair in the pocket. Moved from the 5 board to the 13 board with 2 different balls and no change. At one point I had 4 nice pocket hits in a row and left either the 7 or the 10. A guy on the other team even joked about it. Both teams struggled for the most part with the exception of 2 guys. I used the Altered Reality the first 2 games then the Raw Hammer pearl the last game.

Well a much better night. To think going from struggling to break 500 2 days ago to a 648 tonight. Granted it wasn't an easy 648 but I made it work. You know how some nights you have a large window? Well tonight wasn't that night but I was pretty accurate and when I hit the pocket they all fell. Used the Altered Reality all 3 games. On another note I looked back and have made my last 13 7 pins in a row so hopefully I have that resolved. We had a bye tonight and the whole team crushed it. Scores were phenomenal. Not sure how other teams did. We had a guy with a 731, then me with a 648, then 2 other guys that swapped in and out combined for a 643, then we had a guy with a 622 and the low man was a 618. Only 2 guys on our team average over 200 (the 731 and the 622).

I struggled in game 2 but not cause of transition, just missed my mark too many times. Only moved 1 board all night.

Just couldn't get it together tonight. Threw 2 practice games and was hitting pretty good. League started and just couldn't string anything together. Used the Altered Reality game 1 but had a very tight line so switched to the Raw Hammer pearl which was a little more forgiving but my accuracy wasn't the best tonight. Game 2 I struck every frame in the right lane but no strikes in the left lane. Pretty sure this was the lowest amount of strikes I threw for a couple of months. Stayed clean in game 1 then 1 open in game 2 but game 3 I started falling apart. Was 3/3 on 7 pins again and made every one of them in my practice games (2 or 3 of them). That's 19 or 20 7 pins in a row so happy with that.

Another tough one. Pretty sure the Altered Reality needs freshened up. Ball is now deflecting, not as sharp of a break, etc. Tonight left a pocket 7-10, 2 pocket 9's, and a few other pocket hits with a 9 count. Have about 35 games on it and haven't touched the surface other than cleaning it. On a positive note we won all 3 games. Also, I had made about 23 7 pins in a row including practice. Missed one tonight.

Agreed. That 7 pin in the 9th was my first missed 7 pin in the last 20 or so then in the 10ht the ball just skidded. Exact same line, speed, everything and it never bit. After that I didn't really care about the spare cause we had won the game and I was pretty frustrated. But my main frustration was from all of the pocket hits that didn't carry. I usually get great carry
