Jim Pencak?

Supposed to be teaming up with him Sunday in a doubles tournament. I haven't heard of him but looked him up and saw he has been on TV

Well bowled the PA State Seniors today. Started out great. Teamed up with Jim Pencak in the double set. Great guy. Very nice and cool to partner up with. I started off with my personal best of 290. 2nd game fell off to 164 then back to a 279 for a 733. Partner struggled to a 591.
2nd set was singles on burned lanes. Started off with a 245 with 2 opens. Then things fell apart. 168 and 151 for a 564.

We still have about 3 or 4 weeks left so I may bowl another singles next week but will try to schedule it on the fresh. They have a 6 game block category and even with my 564 I'm only about 100 from last years winning score so if I can roll a 660 or so I should be pretty close to the top there.

Entering singles again this Sunday. Same tournament. Hoping to bowl the team event in a couple of weeks. Looking at last years scores if I can average 650 over this next singles and the team event that should put me near the top of the 9 game 'all events' and the 650 singles would put me around top 5 of the 6 game 'all events'. Not sure I can have a 're-do' on my 'all events' though. Was told by one guy that my 6 game is now locked in but I can advance my singles standings if I beat my horrible 5664...lol

Still a few weeks left in this tournament so sure I'll drop quite a bit from here but this is so far

Well I re-bowled my singles today and wasted $30...lol. Last week rolled 564 for singles after rolling 733 in doubles. Today rolled 577 for singles so gained 13 pins...lol. Unless I bowl teams I'm done for this tournament. I could re-do singles again but I have other tournaments coming up and don't want to over-do it on this one. Pencak did say he may need another guy for his team so he is supposed to call me if so so hopefully I can bowl teams at least. With my 733 and 564 I'm still in decent shape for the 9 game block. If I can roll a 650 in teams that would give me a pretty decent score towards the finals.
