I bowled with my great nephew, Jack, in this tournament today. Being ten, Jack was still loose from his regular junior league session despite an hour long ride to the tournament. Being a year older than WRW, it took me a full game after ten minutes of warm ups to really get loose and another half a game to figure out my line and yet another couple frames to realize that I needed to set up one board further left to make a tenpin today.

My scores: 159, 169, 257

Jack’s scores: 161, 125, 131

Most of the adults that I talked to said they had struggled the first game and then scored well the next two.
