Wow. I really need to start off better. We were on a pair that I don't do great on. Tried both the Pi and the Xponent but I was struggling hitting my mark. Started with the Pi for a few frames then switched to the Xponent. Ended up going back to the Pi about 5th frame. Problem wasn't the ball or lanes. Threw the Pi the rest of the night but couldn't hit the same spot twice. I was focusing on my release then late game 2 realized my footwork wasn't great so started focusing on that. Game 3 was strong. I seem to either focus on my release or my footwork the first 2 games then game 3 finally think about both. Need to work on that.
We lost game 1 by 17 thanks to me. Won games 2 and 3 so went 5-2. Going into tonight we were in first by 1 pt. 2nd place team went 7-0 so now they are 1 pt ahead of us with 1 week left before position rd for 2nd 3rd. Problem is they bowl a lower tier team next week while we bowl a good team. Very likely they go 7-0 and hopefully we go at least 5-2 but then they will have a 3pt lead going into position rd so if we went 5-2 against 1st place in position rd then we would end tied with them. But these guys are all good bowlers who rarely have bad games so very unlikely we can get 2/3 from them.
