When everyone is leaving corners it’s probably something with lanes or perhaps the pinsetters.
I seem to have days where the easier it is to strike, the worse I do shooting spares.
Another rough night but we won 2/3 again. We were on the end pair which I usually do pretty decent on. We had 4 lefties but that usually doesn't affect me. I'm really struggling to strike, mainly with the Xponent. Game 1 was in the pocket most shots but left a bunch of corner pins. In fact, both teams left a bunch of corner pins. Spare shooting was decent. About 7th frame of game 2 I switched to the Pi and moved in a little and created a little arc to get a better entry angle. With the Xponent I was straight up the 7-8 board. With the Pi I moved my feet 2 boards in and threw at the same target but the bigger entry angle let me kick out the 7 and 10 better. Had a clean game 3. My first clean game this season but I'm at 86% on single pins and 8/9 on 7 pins. Missed one tonight just barely inside. Spare game has been really good this season. Now if I could just start striking.

Oh man. Seeing that many single-pin leads almost triggers PTSD.
We have an older guy in both my leagues...he's one of those guys that has been bowling regularly for probably 40-50 years. Sometimes I'll look over at his score and see:
X, 9 /, X, 9 /, 9 /, 9 /, 9 /, 9 -, 8 /, 9 / 9.
The dude is a machine at picking up single-pins...which is why he's one of the better bowlers in both leagues...even though he usually struggle to get his shot to carry.
