Thanks but back to reality tonight. In my defense both teams struggled and it's one of my worst pairs there.
Started with the Altered Reality. We had 4 lefties but none of us are real high rev. But one was throwing an Eternity Pi and another throwing the Zero Mercy solid. Not sure what the 4th was throwing but he is very low rev (and the owner of the place). First 5 or 6 frames was good but then started getting an erratic roll. One ball would be light, the next high, etc. I made a small adjustment but no help. After awhile saw my ball deflecting and I was leaving quite a few 7 pins. Switched to the Ember and almost the same look so went back to the AR for the last few frames of game 3 and moved left a little to hit a little higher but didn't help.
We won 2 of 3 games. One guy on the other team has a 244 average. He rolled 716. About 30 below his average. The one lefty has a 228 average and rolled 565. Righties struggled too.
Bowling our county association open tournament this Sunday at a center I have never been to. Asked my PSO about it tonight and he said everyone has been struggling. He said just angle it from the gutter to the pocket for your best chance. Asked my coach and he said stay between the 10 boards on each side. Outside of that is no mans land. The tournament is every Saturday and Sunday in March. They said there have only been 2 800's so far. I will be taking my AR but gonna re-surface it back to what it was last time I re-surfaced it. Will probably leave the Ember alone as I just re-surfaced it last week and haven't used it other than a couple of frames. It's a 3000 surface. AR is also at 3000. Gonna re-surface my Eternity Pi with about a 1500 just so I have something with surface and will take my short pin Helios just in case. Might take my old Brunswick Igniter just in case they are dry.
