Rough start to the season. Pretty sure we won all 3 games but I started with the Altered Reality and couldn't miss. Went great until the the last couple of frames then I kept throwing it too wide and going through the nose. 1/2 way through game 2 I grabbed the Ember. That was worse. 1/2 way through game 3 I switched back to the AR and started hitting the pocket again. Spare shooting wasn't too bad. No 7 pins left

Well tonight was the opposite of last week. Struggled to start but finished strong. Threw the Altered Reality all night except a few frames early in game 2 when I thought the Ember might be better. One thing I did notice though...I have a thumb insert I have been using for a few years. It is starting to crack and crumble so mid-night last week I replaced it. Tonight I started with the replacement but seemed as soon as I switched back to the old one I started bowling much better. My thumb started getting a little sore with that new one so that led me to putting the old one back in. Gonna get with my PSO next week to see if he can duplicate it.
But struggled to strike early on but my spare game was pretty good tonight. I didn't leave any 7's last week so left my first one about mid-way through game 1 and threw it in the gutter but realized I threw at the wrong target. Made an adjustment and went 4/4 on 7's after that. Splits killed me tonight. On another note we won all 3 games again.

Well after the first 2 weeks we were undefeated so 14-0. Tonight we faced one of the stronger teams. They had 2 pre-bowlers that didn't do great but we were bowling on my worst pair. A few others, including the PSO, said they hate that pair. My average is about 8-10 pins lower on that pair. I started off with the Altered Reality and threw 3 different lines with it. My spare shooting was horrific. I'm getting the feeling there is a topography issue. I kept throwing my 7 pin ball in the drink and usually when I miss it I miss inside and I was already targeting 2 boards further right than I usually do. Game 3 I switched to the Ember. The other team has a guy with a 220 average that threw 168, 137 and 221.
Game 1 we lost by 7 and I opened in the 10th. Game 2 we won convincingly. Game 3 we were up by about 10 but I opened in the 9th and their anchor (220 average guy) was on about a 3 bagger. He struck out in the 10th. I needed a strike in the 10th. I ended up striking out so we won game 3 by 19.
