Default My wife finds a league bowling sheet......

My wife called out to me this morning saying look what I found. It was a league bowling sheet from April of 2022. I looked at the names of the people we bowled that day and than looked at mine to see what I bowled. I bowled a 200, 240 and a 206. Evidently I was doing something right that day. That is probably why my wife kept it. I still bowl league these days but I don't practice like I used to. Being a senior at 78 and on a fixed income I have to watch what I spend because of inflation and high prices on everything. I still like bowling and I put in 42 years of bowling so far. It was a nice surprise to see that bowling sheet from April of 2022.

Glad you’re still bowling and posting. In my area we have very few certified lanes so practice is expensive here. One center is closed after extensive smoke damage and isn’t expected to reopen till May or June. Of the others, one is a set of 4 lanes at a private country club, another is the set of practice lanes at Sacred Heart University, so that leaves only one 56 lane house that is open to the public. On the weekend it is over $50 per hour for a single lane. League bowlers can practice for $5 per game and juniors can practice for $4/game. I have convinced most of the staff that as one of the junior league coaches I should get the same $4 rate.
