I don't think my swing gets close to my slide foot ankle and I can still bowl good games. On our senior league I see some bowlers that are far from their sliding foot ankle when they bowl. I am not like that. I was going to have my teammate watch me when I bowl to see how close my ball gets to my slide foot ankle. I have seen videos how to do it. Maybe my age has something to do with it. I will be 79 in three months. I know that I am not high off the ground when I let it go. I flex my knees before I make my approach. So the way I bowl at this time I can play anywhere on the lane. I am not one of those old folks who throw 10 pound plastic balls straight at the one pin. I can still play deep or straight up depending on what the lanes will give me. I see what both of my balls do at warm up before the game starts. What are your thoughts?
