    Default Summer League

I’m bowling in a summer doubles league. In this particular league you bowl a two game match against one team, the move to a different pair and bowl against a different team. Had the odd occurrence of each of the teams we bowled tonight had a sub. Both of the subs are in our local Hall of Fame, based on performance, not meritorious service. Needless to say we didn’t take a lot of points tonight.

Sounds like our summer league. We can have 4 on each team but only 2 can bowl each night and there can be no substitution so the 2 bowlers that bowl game 1 have to bowl games 2, 3, and 4. But we bowl 2 games against one team then move pairs and bowl 2 more against another team. I like the pace. I always do better in summer league and I think it's because my mind stays focused more. You don't get much downtime, maybe 1 minute max between turns where a 5 man team I might sit for 6 or 7 minutes and I get distracted.
