Bowlers who failed to advance to the ISC national finals still have the opportunity to chase a national title in team competition. Now that singles qualifying has been completed, bowlers will take to the lanes to try to help their teams advance to the national finals of the 2009 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships, which will be held April 15-18 at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford, Ill.

Team qualifying will be held Saturday and Sunday in the same locations as singles qualifying - Allentown, Pa., Chattanooga, Tenn., Fairview Heights, Ill., and Las Vegas. Teams will bowl 64 Baker games and a position round. When the dust clears, the top four men's and top four women's teams from each sectional site will advance to the 2009 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.

Check bowl.com throughout the weekend for sectional recaps and a final report that will name the teams headed to the national tournament.
