Thanks jord-84 I tried the actual Neiman Marcus cookie recipe at the weekend. The grandkids and Di loved them but I still would rather have my toffee, I DID TRY THEM REALLY I did

i love oatmeal raisin and walnut choc chip cookies homemade however FRUIT CAKE COOKIES??? yuuck keep em to urself.

the fruitcake cookies weren't that bad. would have been better if I'd used the candied maraschino cherries only....and not the assorted candied fruit.

the citrus and anise in the candied fruit gives the cookies a weird taste.
