offseason

So for those of you who don't bowl year round, what activities do you enjoy during your offseason?

I find that with bowling being over I have more time on my hands than I know what to do with. I typically ride motorcycle, and play volleyball to stay in shape.

Here there's not much change in the weather. A little rainier, a little more humid. The best days of weather are gone for the summer. Sometimes we take the summer off, but I don't think we will this year. Plus, we go on our bowling vacation in NC every summer. The long pants have been officially banished until maybe October at the earliest, the temps won't get low enough to justify them. I do miss the changing of the seasons, but I don't miss winter at all. I miss the vibrant greens of spring and the panoply of colors in the fall. The summer is the same, and you can keep winter. Otherwise, all that changes is the advertising.

Typically, create projects to better our back yard. Getting hot tub delivered Friday before Memorial day, and designing my own spa enclosure possibly using red cedar. Don't know as of yet.

haha! sounds like me! Most of my offseason sporting occurs at the bowling center...so I may switch nights, but I figured out I'm there 50 weeks a year at least two nights a week
