    Cool Rolling a deeper line

I have not been able to roll deeper that the 3rd arrow. My issue is that I have to go around the ball return (angled to the left) and then consistently hit my mark to the right. I am currently trying to practice on the USBC Open pattern using the 4th arrow. Any suggestions on technique would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on your speed and revolutions the 4th arrow may be too deep for you. If the shots are leaving 5 pins or not making it back to the pocket consistently- parallel moves right. As for getting around the ball return, it does require a lot of practice. Look at your steps and see which one would need a shift left to get to the point you want to get to and practice that. Otherwise, starting in front of the return with shorter or fewer steps is an option, generally the preferred method .
