Post I fell in love with a bowling ball

I Found an Old balling ball in my shed and I did not even know where it came from.
It was rough and faded dull purple, it looked used and abused so I never payed it no mind, till a few weeks ago.
I for some reason i don't know why,I took this ball that did not even fit me to my alley a few weeks ago. I was having some problems with all of my arsenal not hooking down the lanes and I was getting frustrated, so I said to my self, Self, try that old purple ball you got in the bag just for Sh-ts and Giggles, so I did.
Low and behold that bowling ball that did not even fit me with the finger tips all worn out like it had a billion bowlers throw it before me went down the lane so straight, till all of the sudden right before it got to the pins it changed direction and BLAM right in the pocket"STRIKE" I was like 'Hmmmmmm"

1 week after that I took that ball to my pro shop and had it filled and drilled and got purple grip tips put in.
5 mins after that I bowled with it.
when I through the ball down the alley it still went straight down the lane and at the last sec skid flipped and changed direction and "POW" right in the pocket, that's when I fell in love with a Bowling ball

That is kind of an antique. I might fall in love with something if it had new holes, too.

I don't know about antique.... the ICON was the ball to have 8-9 years ago when I started my bowling adventure.
I know a couple of guys that still use theirs.

My Black Rhino I was throwing is over 15 or 20 years old
I guess I'm getting newer equipment

Yeah There was a guy on a team I was league bowling with that had the same ball, I was like wow and wanted to talk with him about it, but he did not speak English...

Well, most of my stuff is only about 5 years old and I've had those referred to as antiques. Once they stop making them, I guess... I still have my LT-48. I think that one qualifies, but I'm not getting new holes for it.
