    Default MOTIV Bowling Balls.

Does any body use MOTIV bowling balls,I don't see too much information about this company. The products work great for me .The SX1 works great for medium to medium dry lanes. The TX1 for medium oil.The GT1 works great for medium oil -oil.The new TR2 is the new ball coming out August 1,2009 is a ball for heavy oil.Every time I throw mine the more people ask and, the more they see the balls the more interested they become. Now :just to get some of the pro shop owners to carry them maybe more people will see them .They do work well when matched up against other similar products from other companies.

    Motiv Girl,

Welcome to the board! I personally do not know much about the bowling ball brand or the company. I have seen only one Motiv ball used in league by another team member though.

I have seen a few people throwing them and they looks to be a good ball. When I looked them up on one of the ball sites to see prices I was not very thrilled. they seem to be a little pricy compared to the other companies.. Just like Lane 1, Elite, and MoRich equipment, I feel that you can get a ball just as good if not better from one of the bigger named companies for less $.

Yes welcome MotivGirl and if you need anything on here just let us know.....As far as the Balls out here in Phoenix I dont see any pro Shops including ours carrying the smaller companies.....With all things going on in the world its tough to carry every ball made. If someone comes in and really wants it we would order it but its not something carry

They a re going to release mid-level balls and a plastic ball in the near future. As for the price they do not wear out as fast as the other companies equipment.I have had mine since March and they are still in great shape so and extra ten dollars is a fair price to pay for quality and great performance. They have a new ball coming out August 1,2009 The TR2 it's for heavy oil,I have thrown it and, compared to other large hooking heavy oil balls it's one of the best .The revs are early and often, with a great mid-lane read with a very heavy continuous arc at the break-point .The cover is the new MOTIVat-R reactive ,with the THRUST core from the SX1.I can say that this ball will be great for the rev challenged and, high speed bowlers as well as re-monsters
wanting to move deeper inside of fresh oil.

I recently visited the Motiv site for the first time to look over their product line. According to the bar charts on each ball's page, the SX1 is supposed to provide the most length but the description says "it wants to turn early". Seems contradictory to me and makes me shy away from considering a purchase.
