Black Widow {STING}

My son and I just threw 4 games each with the Black Widow STING
It was drilled for med oil I was told and back end hook.
I'm a stroker and it worked very well breaking in the pocket if i throew it hard and stood way left.....
My son on the other hand is a crazy cranker with like over 400 revs, we had the same drilled Stings but he could not hit the head pin to save his life, it kept braking left way befor the head pin and he had to almost throw it stright to keep it on the lanes.
If I had this ball for the last Turney in longwood with the long Oil, I woulda Got my 600 series
Im waiting to test the JigSaw, it looks like a dirty snow ball(k00l)

I got the JigSaw last night just before league. I really like it so far. Will probably go throw it again tonight to get some more time on it.

How did your get it drilled?
Are you a cranker or a stroker?
How is it on Oily lines?
Sorry for all the questions but I Love the look of this ball and I want one bad...

I asked him to drill it strong for me, based on my throw. He did it like drill #1 on the Hammer charts, with the pin over the bridge and the MB kicked out a bit further than they show. I throw a medium track, 14-15 mph, stroker with low-medium revs.

The ball does well for me on medium and heavier oil. I got the reaction I was after. I stand around board 20, and I can throw it out to about board 8 and it recovers, and I can play a bit straighter as well without over reacting. I have the ball sanded to 500 grit. It goes pretty far for me on fresh oil. I played on some drier lanes yesterday, and I didn't like it. I don't have a lot to compare the ball to however, only my Brunswick Fury, and a Columbia Ti Beast. It is my favorite by far though, and I've about got my spares down with it. So take my opinion for what it's worth.

ya I was gonna try the #2 on the Widow site I think that the Drilling that Storm talks about as the most agresive 4x4
Since I'm a stroker I want the MAX for long oil on the back end.

I think you will be happy with it regardless. I think it hides the flaws in my game better than my Fury does. I feel more consistent with this ball than my Fury. But I haven't been bowling that long either, so I may just be getting better. But I have never bowled 200 games consistently. I averaged about 150 with my Fury, and I am averaging about 165 within a week of getting this ball. I'm so happy with this ball right now I can't even explain it.

I played a lot tonight, and was a little up and down (me not the ball). I've always heard people talking about moving in when the lanes break down, and this is the first ball that I have done that with. My Fury soaks up so much oil, that I start moving right when everyone else is moving left. This ball doesn't seem to soak up nearly as much oil.
