Red face Stupid Question: Can I wear a ballgown to my bowling bday party?

I want to know if I can wear a prom dress or ballgown to my birthday party at the bowling alley. We couldn't afford a ballroom dance party. I really want to dress up on my birthday. Can you still go bowling even though you're dressed in formal attire? I know this sounds weird but...just curious?

Don't see why not. I've seen people dressed all kinds of ways while bowling. I've even heard of (never seen) people bowling in the buff.

I wouldn't see why not. My husband and I went bowling after our wedding reception and I still had my gown on!
(we're not werid, we met in a bowling alley, so we thought it was appropriate lol)

As long as the gown doesn't interfere w/your footwork, should be just fine.

We went bowling after my prom in our formals. I've seen other groups do it, too.
