    Default Bowling and the olympics

The PBA Tour begins its 1st stop in Bangkok, Thailand August 22-30th.
This comes at the tail end of the 2008 olympics.
If badminton, fencing, and table tennis are in the olympics, why is not bowling represented?
The USBC and the IOC needs to get together and make bowling part of the olympics. This would be the best way of geeting our sport represted internationally.

You know I was thinking of the same thing. I mean come on, table tennis! Bowling should be in there because other countries still love bowling.

One reason why they wouldn't is because of it may be unfair?

We were just discussing this last week after our league meeting...the fact that table tennis (ping pong...OMG) is a featured sport and NOT bowling...

This was one reason that ABC/WIBC had to die and USBC was born. Still no closer to the Olympics.

Well check this article out, it explains why we won't see bowling a Olympic event anytime soon.
Check it out: Olympic bowling could be one heck of a turkey

Yep, it is. I can't wait until London 2012 for the riveting Table tennis gold medal mat...ch (sorry fell asleep there) between Li Chow (CHN) and Lau Wie (CHN)

The IOC as a group doesn't believe bowling would be a good sport to promote, so I guess bowlers from 109 countries are wrong.
